Antifungal activity of Piper diospyrifolium Kunth (Piperaceae) essential oil

In vitro activity of the essential oil from Piper diospyrifolium leaves was tested using disk diffusion techniques. The antifungal assay showed significant potencial antifungal activity: the oil was effective against several clinical fungal strains.
